NaPoWriMo 28/30 Moment on a footbridge

Posted on 29/04/2015 by Charlie Alford

above an open valley

breathing the serenity

in awe of the immensity.

Urban eyes sense tranquility

sense the natural harmony

far away from the city

a refuge washing over me.

padlocks

solid and firm

linking and connecting

two souls happily on a bridge

together forever

in the city

of love.
